Welty is the only stallion in the whole of SA sired by Welt Meyer out of an Eiger I mare, Estalla. Also related to the remarkable Don Ricoss and many more top international champions.
Welty is not only an exceptionally well bred stallion, but also a well topped stallion with exceptional movement, conformation and temperament standing at 16.2 hands. He is a striking horse that will impress any judge. He is currently being trained in dressage and will enter his first dressage show in July 2009. Eiger I, also Hanoverian stallion of the year in 1999 in Verden, sired several international A grade showjumpers. To name a few: Easy Jump with Jos Lansink, Loro Piana and Espirit FRH ho jumped in the 2000 Sydney Olympic games in Germany. He also produced 35 state premium mares and several licensed stallions.
