Summer Rain is an exceptional young filly with an impeccable conformation. She floats when she moves. She has a strong hind quarter and dead straight legs with a good set on neck. She is standing at 16hands at an age of 3 years and was bred to compete. Look at that perfect body and topline!

She will excel in any discipline due to her natural talent and positive attitude. She was one of the first appaloosa sport horses bred by the Painted appaloosa stud out of Mirror Image and by the well known MOT Diaghilev standing at the Rivendell warmblood stud. She was recently inspected for registration and received an almost perfect score by the well know Dr Sandy Waddingham (vet and racehorse breeder). She has recently been lightly backed and will start her ridden career this year! Half siblings include Rivendell Dickens and Rivendell Shantaram.

Diaghilev sire's sire, Kir Royal, won up to international level showjumping and advanced level dressage in Europe. His dam, Holme Grove Dynasty, won supreme champion warmblood mare in 2004. Her sire, Holme Grove Solomon, is a fully performance tested stallion who was competed in dressage as a five year old gaining 161 points in one season, qualifying for the National Championships at Elemetary level. He then won at Medium level in his one and only competition in March as a six year old. HG Solomon was retired to stud early due to serious illness of his rider/breeder's husband. Although after a three year break he spent some winter months training up to Advanced level, he had already shown considerable talent for Piaffe and Passage as a five year old, which he has show during ridden displays in recent years. He is a remarkable stallion who at only 14 years old has already had tremendous successes as a sire. He is approved by the TBF, BWBS and SHB of GB (HIS).
